Single Sided Swingarm Guide

A lil how to on how i fitted the single sided swingarm to the bandit frame.

So i had a Honda Bros 400 swingarm laying around (Basicly a VFR 400 swingarm) and dessided it would look great in the bandit.

So time to do some lineing up, look at whats stopping it fitting.

With the rear shock lighned up with the top mounts you can see just how far the swingarm is from the swingarm pivot point on the frame, this shows us just how far the top shock mount needs to be moved, the distance it needs to be moved is being indicated by the yellow marking in the ABOVE photo, this just so happens to be about the same distant as the brace that sits just below the plate that the rear of the tank bolts to so we can quite easily make a new top mount from steel, take the paint off of this brace and weld the new mount to it then cut the original bandit top shock mount off.

Now we come to the second obsticale, usually the spacers used to center a swingarm are loose and free to just fall out when u remove the swingarm but on the bandit they are welded to the frame, so this swingarm is too wide, rather than F*cking about with a grinder trying to make tiny alteration till there the perfect size im gunna cut them out all together and use spacers from another bike to center the swingarm.
